Geraldine went to our church.My folks knew her folks.I think her dad was the custodian at our church.When she got sick,she didn't spend alot of time in school.When I heard the news of her death,I was shocked.We all thought she would pull through it.She died of a heredity thing,passed down from her parents.All of her brothers,died the same way,& all were young.The death of anyone is always hard,but a classmate,is really tough. After she passed away,I was asked by her parents to be a pallbearer.WOW!! That was REALLY tough to do.I was actually frightened to do this,but I did it for Geraldine & her family.RIP Geraldine.
