Deborah Schott Bennett

After HS graduation I married my sweetheart, David (Dow) Cowick. Our first son, Adam, was born in 1974, and Matt followed in 1977. We stayed very busy with the boys and I became the quintessential "soccer mom". Dave and I divorced in 1990 and I remarried in 1992. That union only lasted 4 years and I remained single until 2001 when I married Craig. Hopefully third time's the charm.

I continue to work in the construction industry and probably will for quite a while. My ball of fire mother retired, became boared, and went back to work fulltime at her old job as a switchboard operator at Edward Jones. She will turn 80 in October and my 97 year old grandmother lives with her.

I'm looking very forward to this reunion since I missed the last one and thank those responsible for putting this together. I can only imagine how much work it is.

HS is a blur. I'm not sure if it's because I'm old and havent stayed in touch with anyone, but it is NOT because I was partaking of the popular substance of the 60's and 70's. I actually remember more people from Jr. High and, after all, I was busy dating my soon-to-be husband.
