Gary Smith

After graduation my dad got me a job at the nuclear power plant as a visual welding inspector on hutchinson island that lasted 2 years. I was born in Houston, Tx. and ended up longing to be back there! In 1983 I moved back to my home state which resulted in a long career in the surveying industry! In 1987 in the midst of the ruins in the oil industry a headhunter from Boston, Ma recruited me and my girlfriend to join a firm in Boston, Ma called VHB. After 5 wonderful years in New England and finding myself in the midst of a real estate crisis i moved back to PSL, FL and resumed my career in surveying. In 1991 I married Melissa Meehan, Jack Meehan's little sister. We had Ryan in 1993 and moved to Nashville, Tn. We separated in 2002 after having 3 more children together, a daughter in 1995 and twin girls in 1998. I continued working in the surveying/engineering field until the economy got me in the Obama era. Today, I work in the best business/industry environment in the world, GOLF!
I currently live w/ my girlfriend Ginger Griffis in Franklin, Tn where we have lived together for 8 years!

Gosh, there are so many but the funniest thing that comes to mind as far as being at the school has to be the one when Chris Nelson and I were riding back to the school w/ his mom after an away baseball game in Pahokee! We rode back w/ her on a friday nite because we wanted to drink beer! We beat the bus back and Chris got out of the car and went to open the gate to the parking lot! He got up a head of steam and the gate was on rollers, when the gate hit the end Chris kept running and hit his forehead on it and we had to take him to the emergency room for stitches drunk! OMG, that was hilarious, his mom was so pissed at him! rotflmao!
