I am truly grieved that Thomas is gone. I did not know until now, this moment, & I am in tears...Thomas was my first real "Crush". To me, he was the cutest boy in school, perhaps the World, as Ft Pierce WAS my World then. I hope & imagine that he touched many Lives in this world, as he did mine with many happy Smiles. I imagine he is sorely missed by his Family still...I will have a place in my Heart for him as well, forever.

I too had a crush on Thomas or Ricky, as I called him.  We were in 5th grade together, and He used to accuse me of copying from his paper!  He was right, I did try to copy his math....haha.  I asked him to escort me to the Buds of Spring ball my 9th grade year, first year at Central High.  Sigma Gamma Rho sorority put it on each year, and it was held at the gym this time.  He took me, although I think he wanted to back out when he realized he would have to wear a suit or a tux.  Memory isa funny thing, I remember not being able to find him in the crowd when the photographer was taking pics of each "Bud" and her escort, so I never got a picture of him.....boy did I yell at him when he showed up from,  I think, out in the parking lot, or something.   The gym was right by the front parking lot.  He never yelled back, just softly apologized.....and walked away.  I pouted the rest of the night, and don't think he even noticed!

What a smart, cute guy he was back then....It's sad and funny to me now, but I will remember him all dressed up and looking sharp, even without the picture.  Rip Ricky and God bless your family
