Jerry left us in the month of march 1979. Jerry was involved in a motorcycle accident on south us 1. Ft Pierce he died from complications as a result of the accident. Godspeed Jerry!
Gerry was a very close shoolmate and personal friend. I remember when my father died in 1976 he helped sell my mother on the idea motocross racing would be "good" for me. On any given Sunday Gerry would be at the track waving his white towel to help motivate me ... If you can recall Gerry was killed in front of the skating rink (now aamco transmissions) by another motorcycle heading south on US#1 with no lights.

I didn't know him well but I did know him from Auto Mechanics class. I remember when I first heard about the accident. I couldn't believe it then and it's still hard to believe after all those years. My condolences to the family who may read this.
