FORT PIERCE - Michael Asmussen , 37, of Fort Pierce died Sunday, Sept. 20, 1998, in Orlando Regional Medical Center.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Fort Pierce.
He was a contracting tile setter. He also owned and operated Accurate Pest Control, Fort Pierce.
He was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
He was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Cindy Asmussen of Fort Pierce; a daughter, Kristi Lynn Asmussen of Fort Pierce; and a son, Dale Michael Asmussen of Fort Pierce; his father, Aksel Asmussen of Vero Beach; his mother, Hanne Gear of Fort Pierce; and a sister, Tina Stokley of Sweetwater, Ala.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at Haisley-Hobbs Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Dale Ingersoll, pastor of Westside Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in White City Cemetery.
