John Ursery Biedenharn, Jr., 47, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

Mr. Biedenharn was born in Columbus, OH and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1963. He recently moved to Vero Beach after living in Oviedo, FL for 12 years.

He graduated from Ft. Pierce Westwood High School in 1979. He received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and his law degree from Loyola in New Orleans, LA. He also earned his pilot’s license at the age of 16. He especially enjoyed his time as an attorney for NASA and also worked at various law firms in Tampa and Orlando.

Survivors include his parents, Jack and Jane Biedenharn of Vero Beach; wife Ann Biedenharn of Oviedo; daughter, Jill Biedenharn of Gainesville, FL, son, Lee Biedenharn of Oviedo; brother Joe Biedenharn and family of Vero Beach; and extended family in Mississippi and Georgia.

Services: A gathering for friends and family to celebrate his life will be held at the residence of Mr. And Mrs. Joe Biedenharn on Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. Their address is 3002 Nassau Dr., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
