Obituary for Frederick Lee Jones

Frederick Lee Jones of Fort Pierce, FL passed away on March 22, 2020 in Delray Beach, FL. Frederick was born in Fort Pierce, FL to Arleatha Jones and Richard Jones on April 3, 1961. He went to high school at Both Fort Pierce Central and Fort Pierce Westwood High Schools graduating from Westwood High in 1979. Following high school, he went on to join the United States Army. After his military service, Frederick worked in general construction until his death. He attended church at Piney Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Fort Pierce. Frederick (casually known to family & friends as Fabulous Fred) enjoyed watching sports, listening to music, dancing, and spending quality time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Arleatha Jones and Stepmother, Vera Jones. Brothers: George Jones (Vickie), Richard Jones Jr., Edward Charles Jones (Alice), Leon Jones, and Dexter Jones.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his Father, Richard Jones. Two sons: Anthony Latrell Watkins and Christopher Lee Jones. Two grandsons: Christopher Lee Jones Jr. and Elijah King Jones. Three Brothers: Joe Louis Jones (Janice), Jerome Jones (Willie Ann), and Isaac Lee Jones (Andrea). Six Sisters: Alberta Crews (Chester), Celestine Baker (Sheppard), Vera Williams (Frank), Hattie Jones-Williams, Shelia Christie (Glenord), and Erica Jones. A host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Public visitation for Frederick Jones will take place on Friday, March 27, 2020 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Immanuel Full Gospel Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 2:00pm.
