RAYMOND FRANKLIN FUZZY CHAPMAN, JR.


Raymond F. Fuzzy Chapman, Jr., age 77, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 24, 2011. He was born December 18, 1933, in Ashland, Virginia. Ray was the Dean of Students at Ft. Pierce Central High School, where he spent many years coaching football, baseball and golf. He was a graduate of Emory and Henry College in 1957 and was an all-star football player. Ray enjoyed fishing, traveling and photography, but he was at his best with a golf club in his hand.
Ray was preceded in death by his father, Raymond F. Chapman, Sr., and mother, Ruth Tiller Chapman. He is survived by one sister, Gladys (Frank) Edmonds; three children, Allen Scott Chapman; Toby Dean Chapman and

Raymond F. Buster Chapman, III; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and his little dog Heidi.
A Celebration of Life will be held October 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Rays home, 3000 Camp Rosalie Road, Lake Wales, Florida 33898. To contact the family, call 863-258-7000.
