I was born and lived in Ft Wayne for 18 years. Loved South Side High School & worked for all the plays and stage presentations. Helped decorate for all the proms but never attended one. :)
Attended and received a Bachelor's Degree in English, education, drama, speech & radio/TV from Michigan State University. Lived near M.S.U. for 29 years in East Lansing, Michigan.
Taught high school English and directed all the plays and assemblies for seven years. Later, I got a Master's of Public Administration from Western Michigan University. When I had my first child, Darren, I quit teaching. Later, I worked for the State of Michigan for 15 years as an administrator for Children's Special Health Care Services and the Office of Substance Abuse Services. When I retired from the State, we moved into our second home near Traverse City (on the Bay). I'm now living on Elk Lake and have been a real estate broker and waterfront specialist for the Traverse City area---selling the MOST properties on the entire East Bay. This was the vacation paradise that my husband (now deceased) loved and that I grew to love, as well.
I RECEIVED THE RE/MAX HALL OF FAME AWARD!
ALSO, BECAUSE OF ALL MY SALES LAST YEAR, I MOVED TO A BIGGER OFFICE--- RE/MAX BAYSHORE PROPERTIES. I JUST RETIRED AT THE END OF 2013.
