MISSING CLASSMATES

ANNOUNCEMENTS

"This site was created to connect and re-connect with our classmates (even those who will not be attending the reunions). Our next goal is to make this site a scrapbook of memories for all classmates and their families. Our site is private! "

The response to our website has been amazing however above is the first sentence found under "First Time Visitors".  I have recently restricted most of our website content to registered classmates. I am sorry if this has caused any of our classmates or friends to be denied access however "Our site is private!". If you are a classmate all we need is a valid email (we need this to protect everybody else). Your email address will NOT be shared. You do NOT need to provide any further information such as address, phone or favorite color.

Kim Palmer

Dear Classmates,

Information has been shared that our classmate, Mike Hayden, passed away Saturday, August 30th. Visitation was held last night at LeCompte, Johnson, Taylor Funeral Home here in Frankfort.  There was no announcement for funeral services.  The family is in need of donations to cover these costs.  If this needs speaks to your heart I ask that you mail your contributions to: LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home, 1725 Louisville Rd., Frankfort, KY 40601.  Please note on your check that this donation is for the Michael Hayden family.

Blessings to you,

Gale Pickett Stivers

I have added a photo gallery with snapshots I took during the reunion. To view them look under the photos tab on the left side of the page. I am open to suggestions and hope others will share their photos as well. For now there is a "Anyboby with a camera" gallery that photos can be added to. I had a blast taking these pics and I hope you all enjoy them.

Hi Everyone from Houston, TX! So sorry I had to miss the reunion and seeing all of you guys! Join me in the chat room if you get a chance so that we can talk "face to face".......it will make me seem a little closer to all the fun. Thanks to Kim Palmer and Gail Picket Stivers for getting this page up and running.......

Hope to talk to some of you guys this weekend!

I had such a wonderful time Friday evening, meeting and catching up with everyone. I'm so sorry that I didn't make it back into town in time to get out to the events this evening. It was an honor to do all the work that I was able to do on the memory presentation. I wish that I could have gotten more response from more people, but I did the best that I could do. Each and every classmate that I shook their hand or hugged on Friday night, I truly call it a privilege to count you as my classmates, but as my friends also. For all those that have gone on before us, it is such a loss for so many so young. As I worked on the page and spoke with family members, it gave me great pride to do what I did to remember them for their families. I was touched by each one of the people that I spoke with and I do hope that I did them great honor and dignity in the presentaion. Let's do the more often, because those numbers will only continue to climb as the years go by. Until the next one, my god bless each of you that made the journey back to this great affair and may he keep you safe on your journey back home. Peace and love be with each of you.

Love ya'll, Darrell Wooldridge

Our 40th Class Reunion has closed. I don’t know all the names of the 'Reunion Committee' and others who contributed, but to you all, AWESOME JOB! You pulled together a great event filled with hugs, laughter and love. I’m certain I’m missing someone and for that I’m sorry, but to those I can name here’s a big hug and special THANK YOU! Karen Sayre DiRaimo?, Karen Clark Ellis?, Gale Pickett Stivers?, Joseph Kim Palmer?, Darrell Wooldridge?, and Sharon Graves Fincel Conciergess? .

Also, Thank You! Joe Williams? and Darrell Wooldridge for the surprise commemorative glasses everyone took home from our dinner-dance. They are perfect for giving toast to our Class.

Just got home to Atlanta and wanted to say thanks to everyone who came to the reunion. It was a blast. Special thanks to all the folks who worked so hard to plan, organize and put the whole thing on.... it was so well done. LOVE the pictures on here. There are so many folks who I see in the pictures and I never got a chance to say hi to. The class of 74 turned out OK. Ever in Atlanta, look us up.
