Oh my . . . words fail me at the moment, and they seldom do. I have so many memories. Late night talks about what we thought were important subjects, lazy afternoons laying in the sun (and me wishing I tanned as well as you!), your sweet smile and signature laugh that I can still hear, if I pause and go back in my head. I kept the 7-page letter you wrote me senior year for so many years, and re-read it often. You were like family to me, Helen, and my heart broke when I learned of your death. You were too young . . . you had so much more to do and share and accomplish in your life! But know that as long as I draw breath, your memory will never fade . . . you are in my heart until we meet again . . .
