Too Sad,  Steve was a great friend.  A guy on whom you could rely.  Now when I think of Baughman, I'll also be thinking of Steven.  The rank of my childhood frineds is getting thinner.

I knew Steve as long as I can remember back in time.  Sorry to hear another old friend has passed.  His great smile is what I will always remember.

I was so sorry to hear that Steve has passed.  He was a long-time member of the "Oak Drive crowd,"  as was Fred Schumm.  I have fond memories of Steve's passion for surfing, his overt friendliness & especially his smile.  He will be missed...

Many childhood memories with Steve as we lived a street apart during our youngest years; he on Birch and I on Holly.  Though we have lost touch over the years and as others have mentioned I will always remember his smile and the fun we had.  Thank you Steve.

I loved Perk!  So sad but he is in heaven now so he's got the goods on us.  I remember Steve as a fun loving guy who had no enemies.  My fondest memory (daily) was walking with Perk to basketball practice and listening to him impersonating a Freeport police siren racing to the B'Port parking lot.  Impactful and envigorating.

My condolences to Steve's family and closest friends.  He will truly be missed.

I haven't seen or heard Steve's name in 45 years, yet hearing it brought a smile to my face...such a nice guy. I extend deepest sympathies to his loved ones and friends.

I had countless hours of fun with the   "duck"  his nickname to a few close freinds. I called his Mom,

Mrs. Duck to her confusion and bewilderment. Note his clinched fist salute in our class picture, an early

visionary of things amiss and not afraid to show it. extremely loyal and brave and always available at

any time of the day or nite. If u needed somebody to party or surf with he was always ready. He will be missed.

He was my brother.   Larry Peters
