HURRICANE CARLA PROGRAM

On September 11, 2022 - the 61st Anniversary of Hurricane Carla hitting the Texas coast - there was a presentation to over a hundred in attendance, about the hurricane at the Brazosport Museum of Natural Science in Clute.
A long-lost 16mm film of much of the damage to the Brazosport area had been found some months earlier, which was converted to digital format.  The first video below includes an introduction to the program, the ‘film’ follows, and then the microphone was passed around, asking those in attendance to tell of their personal experiences and/or ask questions.
In all, the presentation lasted 1 hour and 16 minutes.
The entire presentation was videoed and can be seen today by selecting the hyperlink below.    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2rORYqcjfA
Further, as stated in the presentation, if you have any personal experiences you would like to share, and if you have Facebook, please go to that Facebook page, and post your comments and stories here:
