Memorial services for Charlene Marie Hall, 65, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Cross Timbers Cowboy Church with Pastor Ford Adkins officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

          Mrs. Hall was born August 21, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Virginia (Cloud) and the late Charlie Warren, and died Monday, November 20, 2017 in Lufkin.

Mrs. Hall had resided in Lufkin most of her life. She was a retired school teacher, having taught at Hudson ISD, Martinsville ISD, and Central ISD. Mrs. Hall was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

          Survivors include her husband of 44 years, William “Bill” Hall of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Melissa Hall of San Antonio; daughter, Courtney Hall of Lufkin; grandchildren, Ricky Miller, Jillian Hall, Raylee Gilman, and Nathan Thomas; mother, Virginia (Cloud) Warren; sisters and brother-in-law, Lee Ann Price of Fort Worth and Robin and Mark Stewart of Lucas; brother, Mark Warren of Houston; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

          She was preceded in death by her father.

          Memorial contributions may be made to Cross Timbers Cowboy Church, P.O. Box 118, Lufkin, Texas 75902.

          The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon prior to the services.

Pam Hightower (Koenning)

I am sorry for the loss of this classmate. I dated Charlene for a year between my Junior and up until I went off to College. She was a nice girl and the only dates we went on was church related activites. I lost track of her after I went to college and I met and married my wife Pam Hightower in 1971.
