Rickey Dalton Yielding, 63, of San Leon, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday October 1, 2015 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Rick Yielding was born July 1, 1952, to the parents of Herman Yielding and Bobbie Sue Pelham. He graduated from Brazosport High School in Freeport, Texas in 1970. Rick made his living as an Industrial Welder. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Dalton Yielding;

Survivors include mother, Bobbie Sue Yielding of Bullard, Texas; brother, Ronnie Wayne Yielding of Lake Jackson; sister, Ronda Jackson and husband Don of Bullard, Texas; son, Daniel Yielding of New Jersey; nephews, Brandon Reynolds, Cody Reynolds and Wayne Yielding; niece, Vanessa Yielding; numerous aunts and uncles, relatives and special friends.
