Raymond was born March 19, 1935 in Carrizo Springs, Texas to Raymond and Donnella (Smith) Senterfitt.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday, October 28, 2013 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his wife Loretta Senterfitt of Austin and children Susan Senterfitt of Austin, Matthew and wife Annie Senterfitt of Houston, and Mark Senterfitt of Austin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Jack Senterfitt and his sister Jeanette Hogg.

Early in his career Raymond was a tennis and basketball coach and later became a history professor at Brazosport College. Raymond loved sports, fishing and most of all his family. He also enjoyed his time as treasurer at Velasco Methodist Church in Freeport.
