Laurelwood Academy
Class Of 1956

Hey, Everybody,

On July 24, 19 class members and many spouses met for our 60th class of ’56 reunion.  Some schoolmates from other classes also came to help us celebrate.  A few from ’55, a couple from ’57 and one from ’76 (Ted’s son, Terry).

We gathered at Cherrywood Retirement Village in SE Portland.  If you were not there, you missed a fabulous time.  Some of us arrived a day or two early to enjoy the last days of Oregon Camp meeting and a couple extra meals together.

There were no streamers, balloons, no talent show and no costumes (although – well, never mind).  Just good food and good sharing time among old friends.  Not long enough!

Here are the ones who were there.

Arline Griffith    Joyce Overacker       Magnolia (Nola) Hilligoss

Bobbe Seeburg     Ethel Syme              Marion Park

Donna Faye Stephens   Joyce Laubach   Marie Foster

John Baldwin         Donna Becker            Ted Bair

Bob Bradshaw         Bob Holmes               Bill Norris

Dean Kuebler          Sandy Leach               Ken Wilbur

Roy Roberts

Mel Wright could not make it due to last minute illness.  I think John and Marie attended for the first time this year.

If you would like to know more nitty-gritty, use the website, email, face book or even the phone for cryin’ out loud!

Part of the weekend discussion was the subject of our 61st reunion next year – so stay tuned.  In the meantime, try to behave yourselves.

Peace,

Ted
