Laurelwood Academy
Class Of 1956

Dear Classmates,

My apologies for not keeping the website up to date especially regarding deceased family and friends.  No excuses.  I am sorry.

Which brings me to this:

Due to several reasons, this website will be de-activated as of 12/31/18.  Keeping the content interesting and current has not been possible.  Class participation has been nearly non-existent.  Other social media is far more convenient and portable.

I am getting older the same rate as the rest of the class.  As with you, my focus is narrowing, and peripheral concerns end up on the back burner or not even near the cooking surface at all.

So, if you use this website to stay in touch, please take the next few weeks to find alternate communication media - e-mail, Facebook or phone number.

The site will remain intact until 12/31/18 and then be deactivated.  Besides this notice on the website, I will be sending e-mail notices to you.

Thanks to Donna Faye and others who took advantage of this resource and her effort to keep us together.

We shared a precious time together as friends at Laurelwood Academy.  Some of those friendships have survived and grown even closer with time.  Since graduation in 1956, we have chosen a wide variety of life-styles and vocational pursuits.  We all have a story to tell.  I am really looking forward to the next life where we can sit with no hurries, so we can share those stories with each other.

God Bless you and your families,

I appreciate Ted, Donna Faye and all who have contributed to this website over the years. It was wonderful to remember Laurelwood and be able to keep young, at least in mind. Thank you very much for all your work. Best wishes to everyone in the class now and forever! Mary (Hanson) Carlin
