After my marriage to Barb - a Milo girl, in 1957, I worked in the sawmill at Harris Pine Mills in Pendleton to complete 3 years at Walla Walla College, after which family responsibilities took me into the work force full time.
In 1962 I became the Plant Inspector for Rhodes Refrigeration in Portland, a job I very much enjoyed, and from there, to being a an Engineer at Holiday Park Hospital in Portland, which gave me a wide variety of technical skills and experience.
From 1965 to 1968, I drove long-haul for Harris Pine Mills in Auburn, WA.
In August of 1968, I entered the field of Audiology, enjoying a rewarding 36 year career as a Hearing Aid Specialist until my retirement in 2004, owning Hearing Aid offices in Pasco, Washington, Eugene, Oregon, and Tillamook, Oregon.
Since my wife Pat's death in 2005, I have continued to enjoy my country home here on the Oregon Coast, and keep busy as a volunteer for It Is Written's bibleinfo.com on-line ministry, responding to Bible Questions and Prayer Requests from around the world, and traveling as a guest speaker for the Oregon Conference, both richly rewarding ministries.
