There are so many things about HS that I miss: cheering games, even the freezing cold of football season; play practice and performing in front of an audience; singing in choir. I miss hanging out and doing nothing...how did we find each other without cell phones? I miss Viking Revue and laughing so hard I thought I would pee my pants. Lots of great HS times :)

Okay...still John Miller - to relive our drama memories (as he wasnt able to attend the 15); Sarah Bell...all the way from London or maybe Germany now?!

College - University of Iowa - roomed with Haule for 2 of the 4 years - had a great time, probably too much fun! Studied abroad in Lyon, France and lived with a French family. Graduated with a sociology degree (not really sure what I was planning to do with that :)

Decided to become a teacher, went back to school and got my masters and certification together. Chose to become a middle school English teacher (I know...I must be crazy!) Started teaching in Oak Forest, IL - lived downtown with my sister Kristy and Jamie McHale.
Performed in Batavia's Shakespeare in the Park for 3 seasons (I miss that so much!)

Met my husband, Steve, in 2001 through my friend Kate. Started dating but then he got accepted to UCLA for business school so I was pretty sure it wouldn't work out :( But...we did long distance for a year and then I decided to make the move to sunny California. I found a teaching job out there and we lived in Westwood for 2 years.

Did some traveling with my sister-in law and husband and with my sister and her future husband, Web: Ireland, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Spain.

Did a reality show - The Complex Malibu on Fox - with my then fiancee, Steve. We won!! Great times...I apologize ahead of time for those who watched me cry in every episode.

Got married in 2004 in the Florida Keys...beach wedding. Maria DePaul Kramer, Sarah Haule Walkington, Becky Stern, and Loari O'Halloran were in the wedding. We honeymooned in the Caribbean: Aruba, St. Maarten, St. John, San Juan.

Moved to Hermosa Beach, CA - our current residence - bought our first home in 2007. We live 6 blocks from the beach...love the California sunshine. I took a teaching job in Manhattan Beach, where I taught 7th grade English and 6th grade Drama. Loved it! Decided to leave when I had my first boy, Mason. Thought I would return but I just couldn't do it!

Had a baby boy, Mason Charles, on December 10th, 2008. He is the light of my life! Surprise, Surprise... another baby boy graced our lives on May 25th, 2010. We named him Tyler Richard, but call him Ty. Love my boys!
