Married the prettiest girl in our class (Eve). Took me 33 years to convince her to marry me (but in truth didn't start trying to talk her into it until 2002-my big mistake in waiting so long-but couldn't help that I was married to two other ladies before Eve). Lived large. Then discovered living large is really living small. God helped make that clear. Started living in 2001. Paid the price for living large for the next 19 years. Perhaps some payment still due. Maybe not!
Lived 35 years in Franklin, Murfreesboro, Nashville, Monteagle, before returning to Memphis in 2011 so Eve and I could take care of our moms. Thankful to God and to Eve and to our children (and stepchildren) and to our grandchildren (and stepgrandchildren) for how sweet life is once you start living for Him.
