Well, in the hotel/hospitality industry pretty much right out of high school until 1999 and then decided that social work was my gig. Did that until 2007 and then left that field so that I could adopt my son (who was a client of mine....couldn't do social work anymore due to the rules of ethics w/ social worker/client confidentiality) and got back into the hospitality biz. Lots more in between but that's the occupational super-brief blurb.
You know.....I'm not really sure. I know I was a geek and nerd to some extent. But I was also involved w/ football and basketball and Crimsonaires so there was that cool/prep/whatever thing going on. I'm not sure. In fact, I'd like to hear what other people would answer to this about me. Send me an email and message (and don't spare my feelings...my son asked the same question a day or two ago and I'd like him to honestly hear what my classmates have to say about this).
Work (how sad). Walk. Run. Surf the net. Watch TV. Hang out w/ my kid.
In days gone by it would have been going out dancing and karaoke and golfing...but not so much anymore.
I love sitting by the fire or fireplace w/ my friends and just shooting the breeze. Love some Texas Hold 'Em and have a new affinity for board games or card games of almost any kind. Love grabbing my bike and taking the bus down to any of the various bike trails in the area and just riding/walking.
Top of the list, no holds barred, my brother, Jason. He is the funniest guy on the planet and I love our relationship even though it's "long distance". I look up to him in much the same way that I look up to my father and grandfathers.
I am very proud of him and the man he is and have the utmost respect for him.
