John Tolman -- I especially wanted you to see these memories of Rich... My question of course is wny I waited 48 years to do something like this but... it's here now.  The items will be going to the Perrysburg museum next weekend.  I think it may only be open on Sat. mornings... but will check and try to let you know.

Janice, Thanks for the wonderful tribute to Rich. I am a six year veteran and my wife is an eight year veteran. John said it right we are the lucky ones. My wife and I have been to Rolling Thunder like Mary Jo and her husband. The sight of that wall with all those names simply takes your breath away. Rich is a true hero. We shall never forget those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country.   John Lucas

December I5, 2015 -- On the front page of the Dunkirk Observer today the story of Rich Williams and the presentation of his miliatary artifacts to the Perrysburg Historical Museum has been published.  Until I figure out how to get this article here on to his profile page, the article may be viewed on the Dunkirk Observer web site or on my Facebook page.  I have designated that the article may be seen by the public so anyone on Facebssook can view this.   Computer guru's among us who might know how to get the article to this website, please feel free to assist me in this project....  Jan Boothby

Laughing Karen, honestly when I had tried to print out lables with no idea what I was doing, gettinig the identification of the medals mixed up... even when I thought I was all done, it was pointed out I had a pair of wings upside down... fortunately the case could be opened so this could be corrected ... but I kept thinking how amused he would be watching me trying to get all of this put together...
