We are back in MN now, and talked about the reunion all the way back! It was a great event, and I wanted to Thank all involved in organizing and pulling-it-off!

The website is great, and I hope we can keep it open until next reunion. The nametags with yearbook photos and LARGE LETTERING were also helpful! The dinner was great, the selections and h’ordeauves(SP?) were good too, but the Cake was my personal favorite – all (3) Pieces!!

I think everyone was pleased with the Open Bar, and I was impressed that the Bartender could keep up with demand . . . so often FREE Drinks means you can’t get waited on! Not so, on Friday night!

I think the table with shared photos was a hit.  The DJ played a good selection of tunes from our era, and Having Frank play was the Best!

We didn’t make it to Slovenian Picnic, but from what I heard it was a huge success too, so scheduling that same weekend might be a good thing to think about for our next reunion!

Once again, on behalf of Joan and I, Many Thanks for all those that made this reunion so much fun!

Does anyone have a copy of the pictures that were taken at this years Slovenian Club picnic in August. There were about 20 classmates, but I don't know who's camera was taking the shots. Thank you- Paul Palen

ALSO--I am retired and am now the American Legion LCW Post 1 Commander. What that means to you---free beer at my Legion! ppalen@comcast.net    come to Denver, CO!!!!!

Hello Class of '65, Gowanda High!

Many thanks to the planning committee!  You did a wonderful job and I appreciate all your hard work.  I never got a chance to say hello to all of our classmates Friday evening, as I was catching up with other people.  I was glad that we had the chance to tour the school, pay a visit to the historical society and tour the Hollywood.  The Slovenian picnic is always a great cap to a great weeken.

I think having a combined reunion of the class of '64 and the class of '65 is a great idea.  Joan Markham Greenlea said that Pine Valley combines every class from the '60's for a reunion.  Being smack dab in the middle, we would have a chance to see people older and younger than us.  However, other classes do have reunions of their own and might not appreciate us taking over, if you know what I mean.

I hope we can see all the same attendees at the next reunion, combined with those who couldn't make it to this one.

Dianne, am I remember correctly (or just making this up) we were @ Brownie Camp one year together before I came to Gowanda school?

I, too, am amazed at how many of you I did not get to talk to!!  When I walked up to some, they were deep in conversation with someone so I went to the next, thinking we had the whole evening to chitchat.  Who knew the whole evening seemed to be a half hour!!  Before we knew it, the night flew & was over!  I knew we would be touring the school & theater so I thought I would get a second chance to visit on Sat. but we didn't have a big crew for that.  It was wonderful to see the Historical Society, high school & theater so many thanks to Joan for making this trip down memory lane possible.  Gerry & I can't thank you enough for storing all the posters and memorabilia at your home.  We plan to be out partying the night before the next reunion instead of cutting & pasting posters!  Yeah!  See you all in 5 years!  ðŸ˜¬
