What about hobbies, interests...stuff you'd rather do than work?

BIke, sew, cook, gardening, spending time with my kids and husband.We homeschool our kids. Will they ever all grow up??!! Seriously, I think God wanted me to homeschool our kids so I could learn all the things I didn't learn when I was in school. I am getting really good at 7th. grade math and history. I know all the states and capitals and multiplication tables again. (Did I ever learn them to start with?) So someday I will have hobbies again when I graduate from homeschooling with my last child. Joseph is 8 so I have a while to go.

Done anything really cool?

When my daughter had her baby, I jumped in the car with my 2 younger daughters and drove to Virginia (about 16 hours away) and arrived at her house before she and her husband and baby got home from the hospital. I had no idea I could drive that far and still stay awake with only a little caffeine.

Tell us about your favorite teacher (K - 12).

Mrs Wyatt. She was our coach and home-ec teacher at Triway. In 7th grade there were only 4 of us in our home-ec class and we did some really fun things. I remember her taking us to the grocery store to teach us how to shop.
