Died February 5, 2003 in Rochester, MN. It looks like he had been living out in Colorado. Dying in Rochester makes one think that perhaps he had been at the Mayo Clinic with a serious illness.
I was lucky enough to get to talk to my friend David at the 30th reunion. Even got a picture with one of our bands from RR that we were both part of. He looked great and happy. I was very sad when my Dad sent me an obituary not long after that. Back in the day we played music together and rode around in the cool Corvair that he had. Those were fun and carefree times. We have to enjoy every day, and remember all the good times that we all have and will have with each other. Rest in Peace my friend.

I think I remember going to Kindergarten for the first time and I do believe he gave me my first kiss that day....our teacher would have been Miss Thompson(??). Dave was a very close friend for many years. I was shocked and saddened to learn of Dave's passing. He had a disposition and quick wit which was always enjoyable. I respected Dave mostly for his integrity and character. We shared so many fond memories of so many storybook adventures - from boys to young men. I will always treasure those years.
