Sandra Barnett

Well I started at Fleet Mortgage Corp in 1990 - 1993. From there I was at Florentine Opera in Miwaukee as their Administrative Asst. From there I started bartending and that took me off. So from 1994 - 2008 I was running taverns and owned my own tavern from 1998-2001. After I had my son, Devin and I moved to WV for a little while. Fourteen months was all I could take from there, so we moved back to WI. Now Devin and I have been back since 2001 and very happy to be back home. I was the Head Cook at Meadowview in Oak Creek and retired from working there and my parents bar in 2008 and now I'm a stay at home mom and I have my own Avon business. I love not having to work 80 hours a week anymore and can work on my life as it is now and the future :)

School was difficult for me. I'm originally from Indiana and moved to Ohio when I was 2. My parents split when I was 5, so from there on it was moving back in forth from city to city, state to state. I moved to WI for the last time when I was in the 4th grade and attended Greenfield, then in the middle of 7th grade, I went to Greendale and graduated there. Living in Greendale and going to school there was the longest I have ever lived in one spot. I don't hold any grudges from school, kids are mean and we handle the way we do at that time. Now we worry and hurt when our kids have to go through the same as we do. You know, as I think of it, I did have a lot of friends in school. Angie Dordel OMG I loved that girl. Her and I would just laugh and do some crazy silly things. Paula King!!! First day she got her license she got 2 hit in runs while we were cruising on HWY 100 in her mom's red Chevete!! Or me and Tim Behling spitting spit wauds in class, forever being seperated. Tim, do you remember calling me Chaka?? Well that's what I've got right now. I'm sure I can come up with some more. There's plenty.
