He was a native of Mount Ephraim, N.J., a Sherwin-Williams factory technician and a graduate of Page High and UNC-G. Surviving are mother and stepfather, Judith Cunane McDowell and Bobby D. McDowell of Greensboro; father and stepmother, William John and Annabelle W. Cunane of Greensboro; brothers, Daniel Cunane and Richard Cunane of Greensboro.
