Retired from Louisiana Dept. of Labor, 2001. Traveled to Europe 3 times; cruises to Hawaii, Alaska, and the islands in the Caribbean.

I remember the graduation dance at the National Guard Armory on Walnut Street for the music of Charlie Rich, who was only popular in the mid-south in those days, but became quite famous in later years in c/w music with several hit songs. I still tell friends today when his songs are playing that Charlie Rich played for my high school graduation dance.
