Bubba and I were in a class together at Mississippi State one summer, a 7 AM ( sunrise service, we called it) English Literature class . I remember Bubba as always smiling, friendly, and kind to everyone then and when we were in high school. He is missed.

I have yet to find an obituary for Bubba, however, you'll find his sister's obituaries interesting to say the least. She was married at least 3 times. Listed as Elwyn Ward, Elwyn Ward White, & Elwyn Ward Thomas. You'll learned she was also married to a Benson. One of her obits will give you a hint as to what Bubba had accomplished in his life before his death. You'll also see that Bubba was married to Judy Cook, and they had at least 2 sons, John Elwyn and Colin C. Ward.
