I regret not making it to college but I was hired at a computer store 3 days out of high school and have worked in that field ever since. I was co owner for a ComputerLand franchise for 14 years and now I've had my own for 8 years, it is called Techsource. Many may remember that I was pretty shy in school, especially when it came to speaking in front of people. I now am a member of Harvest Time Tabernacle and have led worship and sung solos in front of thousands of people, also have sung at weddings and funerals. God has a way of making you do things you're not really capable of. I married my wife Cheryl in 1989. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer while we were dating and God promised me he would take care of us and provide a family. Boy did he ever, we now have the 7. 4 boys 12, 17, 18 and 19 and 3 girls, 13, 14 and 17. All are adopted but loved as though we made them ourselves. For 3 years, Travis had been fighting his own battle with cancer. It was first found in his leg, then in his lungs and then in his brain. It was a long battle but he was a strong kid. Travis died 12/18/08. You can follow his courageous battle at www.prayfortravis.com. That pretty much sums up my life: family, church and work. Oh, and I eat and sleep football, love my razorbacks and the ghs bulldogs.
