School Story:
After I graduated school in May the following month I took off to Jacksonville, FL and attended UNF for 2 years, before I was accepted into Jacksonville Fire Firefighting Academy at FCCJ. I graduated with my firefighter I and II certifications and went on to complete my EMT certification at FCCJ as well. I volunteered for Jacksonville Fire Rescue while I worked fulltime for Watson Realty and Commercial Services. As I was waiting for hire with Jacksonville Fire Rescue, I met the love of my life. We carried out a long distance realtionship from FL to TX for 6 months before I decided I wanted something more. I had already been in Jax for nearly 5 years at this point. It was time for me make a change and take a risk. I moved to TX, in July of 05, leaving behind my career, family, and friends. I was very nervous and hesitant at first, but then I gathered the courage and just did it! I moved to Dallas with Jeff and we got our first apartment together. The following year we purchased our first home together. Over the last 5 years I have had a very successful career in Corporate Aviation- an industy I never knew exisited!! I absolutely LOVE my job and what I do. Everyday is an unique and exciting day for me. There is never a dull moment when I am dealing with owners and private jets. I have met some of the most wonderful people in TX and have established a circle of friends that have become my family. I have two adorable pups which are my babies- Dexter (peekapoo) and Dudley (cockapoo).
Last year, on May 29th 2008, I lost my oldest brother Johnny (JJ) Jozsa. Losing him was the hardest and most painful experience my family and I have ever gone through. The sudden tragedy made all of us closer and stronger as a family, but the memory and painful realty of missing him is a daily battle. I thank God for all of my friends and family's support and loving compassion that carried me through that time of loss.
My latest news is: I now have a nephew!! Blake! Which if most of your remember Courtney and I were the best of friends all through high school. Well, she married my middle brother Bradley and they had the most gorgeous baby I've ever seen (sadly only in pictures for now) so I am hoping to get home soon and see my little pumpkin and all the Jozsa traits he portrays!!!
