Michael Hudson Dudley, 60, of Guntersville, was born May 22, 1961, and passed away December 27, 2021. Mike graduated from Guntersville High School in 1979 and then earned a degree in accounting from David Lipscomb University in Nashville. After doing accounting for several years, he returned to Guntersville in the late 1990s. Because of his love of working outside, he became an independent landscaper, which continued until close to his passing. He traveled extensively and loved history, hiking, camping and biking. He is survived by his parents, James and Marjorie Dudley; two brothers, David (Betty) and Scott (Allyson); nephews Lane and Keaton Dudley and Jordan Pannell; nieces Abby and Libbey Dudley and Erica Formby (Dee); aunts and uncles; and many cousins. A private burial took place Thursday, December 30, with his dad and brothers speaking. Pallbearers were brothers David and Scott, nephews Lane and Keaton Dudley and Dee Formby, and cousin Mark Litchford. A special thank you to the Guntersville High School Class of 1979 and all who encouraged and prayed for Mike during his short illness.
