SCOTT, Evelyn Florence (nee Lyell) Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital in her 76th year with her family by her side. Loving and devoted wife of Walter for 54 years. Predeceased by her son Kevin (1996), Father Harold (1978), Mother Florence (1967) and Sisters Sylvia (2001), Joyce (2011) and twin sister Shirley (1937). Lovingly remembered by her children Gordon, Susan LeBlanc (Mike), Colin (Silvana), Lorna (Wayne) and Ruth Gauthier (Rene). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Matthew (Ashley), Kyle, Brittany, Stirling, Connor, Andrew and Alex. Dear sister of Lois Robinson (Ivan). Also sharing a lifetime of friendship was her dearest friends Emily and Fredrick Halliday who were always by her side. She will be missed by her Jack Russell of 14 years, Buster. Evelyn was a retired employee of the HWDSB, serving for 24 years. Mom's loving arms would embrace all her children, and grandchildren and we know that we were her life as mom was to us. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton (east of Sanford Ave.) on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
