I remember being at Eric's service, and them playing Rod Stewart's, "Forever Young" and for the first time that song meaning something. Whenever I hear it now I think of you, and love ones past.

I still can remember the phone call from my aunt. I was floored. Could not wrap myself around the thought of Eric being gone until seeing his mom Janet standing protectively beside him at his wake. As I walked in with my father she saw me and brought me over to see him and we stood there crying. I was proud of my cousin and the strides he was making in his life before his senseless passing. I still miss him.
