Richard Pagan

RICHARD C. PAGAN, JR. HESSVILLE, IN Richard C. Pagan, Jr. "Noodles", age 39 of Hessville, passed away Monday, April 26, 2010. He is survived by his son, Josh Pagan; father, Rickard C. Pagan, Sr. of Puerto Rico; sisters: Silvia (Juvy) Pimentel and Ruby (Gus) Rios both of Hessville; grandmother, Maria Pagan of Puerto Rico; aunts and uncles: Dennis Lopez, Jose "Papo" Pagan, Doris (Julio) Santos, Lynette Lopez, and Santa Martinez; nieces and nephews: Carlos (Crystal) Flores, Gus "Peanut" Rios, Faustino "Chuchu" Flores, Sonia "Lala" Rios, Marissa Pimentel, and Juvy Pimental Jr.; great nephew, Antonio "Nene" Flores; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria "Nena"; grandparents: Jose Pagan, Raleigh and Caroline Lopez; uncle, Raleigh "Taty" Lopez; and aunt, Caroline "Cuddles" Lopez. A prayer service will be held Friday, April 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave. (corner of Main and Kennedy), Schererville, IN with Pastor John Martinez officiating. Richard will lie in state at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of prayers, and will be laid to rest at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Richard graduated from Morton High School in Hammond in 1989. He was a member of Local #41 Labor Union. He was always active with his nieces and nephews sports activities. Richard was a loving son, brother, and uncle that will be dearly missed. He believed in helping others by being a tissue donor. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.

Noodles you will be missed ... I still think of the days back then when we would get the Ridgewood group together (along with several others) and would have Weekend Softball at Phromer (sp) Park.  We would have to pitch to him from first base because he would always pull the ball well into the left field foul line ... I will always cherish the good times my friend .... The Zieba family thoughts and prayers go out to your family ... we'll meet again my friend!

Richard it was a pleasure to share a table with you at our 20th reunion.  Thank you for making us laugh, and remembering some of the craziest things from our past.  I will see you brother in the after life.  My sister told me to tell you Hi..... we'll miss you.
