Donald was a dangerous person for me to sit next to. I never knew what was going to come out of his mouth and he would always crack me up. When we were in typing together he would often wind up typing something extremely inappropriate on his typewriter instead of what we were supposed to be typing. He'd normally be telling me what he was typing under his breath and it was so hard to keep from laughing and stay focused on my own typing. In fact I'm pretty certain I remember Mrs. Duke ripping the paper out from his typewriter more than once when she'd catch him doing it. He was a great guy that life was not too kind to.

Donald was the first person I had ever met when I first moved over here from Ireland as a kid. I think Allen is correct, you just didnt ever know what Donald was gonna do! At 14, he rode a 10 speed all the way to Indianapolis to see his dad due to his mom wouldn't take him! It was never boring around him ever thats for sure. I spent New Years 1987-1988 with Donald and he was like a part of our family. He helped my step dad in carpet since he was 14. On new years he seemed in great spirits, He wanted to come to California and stay with me and some friends and look for work.He told me he just wanted to see the United States and he always wanted to go to California. My parents bought his ticket for Jan 15th, I talked to him on the phone on Jan 13th and he told me he had just a few things he had to do 1st and he would see me soon. That was the last time I spoke to Donald. On Jan 15th,1988 I received a call from my Dad stating Donald had taken his life. My family still talk about him all the time. No matter what mood you are in or where he is right now he can still make you laugh. He is truly missed
