I have talked to Mrs. Daugherty-Newby and Mrs. Frazier-Adams and I'm sure they are going to join. How could they not want to still be a part of our class. They had such a part in making us into the characters we are. Now we know who to blame it on. Oh no!!! They have also taught both of my girls. What ever am I in for?

To all who was at the reunion. I enjoyed being with all of those who attended. It was nice seeing those who I havent seen since graduation, and even those who are living close by.

The 25th Reunion was great! So glad everyone could make it. It's hard to believe there were so many children under 5. It's also hard to believe it rained all day and all night...in July. Still, the accomodations were great. Most of the adults stayed high and dry. The kids on the other hand are still drying (along with my corn hole bags...) We lit a fire in the shelter house at Clifty Falls mainly to dry the kids, but also roasted marshmallows.

Mike Hess has a Party Palace on Hanover Beach. Wow! Scott Caudill's Band sounded awesome. I wanted to request Ridin' the Storm Out by REO Speedwagon or I Love a Rainy Night by Eddie Rabbit, but they had it covered.

Thanks to Liz (Thomas) Weber for arranging all the food and drinks. Thanks to Allen for managing the website and reaching out to all our classmates. Pictures will be available soon. Jimmy Terrell has some great shots. There were claims of YouTube Videos going to be posted as well. Check out Ty Knox's Profile for awesome video.

Hope to see you all again soon.
Joe

Hey Class of 1984,
Thanks to all who ventured to Jefferson County for a fun, RAINY day. It is a good thing none of us are sweet enough to melt in the rain. I am so glad all came to Clifty or Mike's and most to both. I can say all had a most awesome time. It was so cool to see so many people from out of town! I hope everyone had or will have safe trips home. I love seeing everyone's kids and Rick Melgard so deserved the look a like award with his son. I hope someone can post a picture. Allen-you are the best. Thanks for everything!!

Had a great time at the reunion. I've added the same photo Joe has on his profile to mine but added some labels. I had a great time. Thanks to everyone who helped out. Liz did a great job with the food. She, Joe, and Todd thought of everything. Mike's party was a lot of fun as well. I'll have more pictures up when I get them.

HEY everyone!! Gina here...
Can I just say what an awesome time I had at YOUR reunion. Even though I wasn't in your class, I felt very much a part of it. Everyone made me feel so welcome. Most people think a reunion... BOring. NUH UH. It was a great time. Did it rain?? So glad that didn't put a damper on anything. There are just some things we can't control, and we just gotta make the best of it. And we did!
I appreciate all the work and time everyone put into it. It's kind of like a 2nd job. The efforts were very obvious.

I heard a lot of great stories and some of them explain some things about Terry... ha ha. I'm glad he had good people to go through a big part of his life with.
Some of you said, "HEY next time you're in town, call us and we'll get together..." Oh we will. I'll make sure of it.
Thanks again for letting me share the day with all of you.
Take good care! Until next time...
(Todd and Brian, those HEYs are for you :D )

I had a great time I wish I could have made it to the past reunions. It would be nice to see even more classmates show up for future reunions. I really want to thank Allen for his work on the web site and if we ever lose the granfather clause keeping the site at no charge you let us know if you have to start paying. Thanks to Joe Neher, Liz Thomas, Todd Bruther, Mike Hess and anyone I may have forgot for all the work that was done to help make this reunion a great time.

First name is after my best friend (Neil Bryson) and David is after my younger brother. Gotta go, just stopped in the house to plant the front yard sign. GOD IS GOOD!!!!

I want to apologize for not being able to attend our 25th Class Reunion. I contacted Allen at the last minute hoping I was going to be feeling well enough to attend. My physicians are confident that I will be around for the next five years, so I'm hoping to attend the next one. I hope everyone had a great time. I'd like to thank Allen, Joe, Mike, Liz, Todd, and anyone else that helped with the planning of our reunion. I'm sure it was a fun time to be had by all, and a fantastic walk down memory lane. I'm just really sorry I couldn't attend.

Everyone take care,

Jenni Abrams

Penny's daughter, Brittany, was married August 9th, 2010.  She married Van Green and they are living in Hanover.  I posted a few pictures from the wedding under my profile.  My daughter, Gabrielle, was her Matron of Honor.  They have been best friends for years.

James,

We're open to any ideas.   We've not really met or done anything since the reunion but will probably by late next year or the year after.  Anyone who has not filled out the the post reunion survey yet should click on it.  There is the chance to fill in ideas for future reunions.  You can also post ideas on here as well

30 Year Sounds Good.  I like Regatta Weekend 2014...What's the chance of Rain on July 5th again ?

Tuesday, Nov 30 is the Groundbreaking for the re-building of the Madison-Milton Bridge.  The method is supposed to only close the bridge for 10 days !   http://madisoncourier.com/

Hi and Hello.

Just wanted to say hey.  I haven't been in contact with very many since the reunion.  I had soooo much fun at the reunion.  It was great to see everyone.

I read on the forum that Rick had another little one.  Congrats!

Well I'll stop for now.  Just saying Hey.

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and New Year.  Have a good one.

Later

Linnette

Wanted to let people know that Jeff Riley came through his surgery well and is recovering.  I copied the following from his facebook page:

Thanks to all for the prayers, cards, and well wishes. Everything went well with only some minor side effects. It was great to wake up and know my name, recognize the people I love, and basically have all of my mental capacity (I think.... if not just keep allowing me to believe that!) The staples are out now and I'm getting the chia pet look, but I thought I'd post a little of Dr. White's handy work.

You can go to facebook and see the picture he posted.  Please keep Jeff in continued prayer and good thoughts as he continues his recovery.

Allen,

Thanks for keeping everyone posted during my surgery/recovery!

I know it's an off year in terms of the traditional reunions done in five year increments, but I thought I'd pay the website a visit to see if anything informal was being planned for this year.  I have to plan my time off in advance and would like to attend if the gang is getting together this summer.  If not, I hope to see everyone in 2014!

Jeff,

Nothing going on that I know of though I'm hoping to get some of the others together to start planning our next reunion.  Anyone wants to do anything though just let me know and I'll email everyone.  Hope you are doing well.  I need to spend some time updating the site some.  I've got better internet service at home now so I'm hoping to get some more photo albums added.  Will also probably do another survey soon as well once we start planning the reunion.  If you've not done so yet please do the post reunion survey so we can get your input on any future reunions.

Allen
