I am so sad about Mike.  He will be so missed and would do anything for anyone. He loved to see me and my family coming with all our junky cars.  I used to accuse him of jinxing one when I got the other fixed just to get all our $$!! He was great about hosting our last reunion.

I just came from the Funeral Home.  Mike had a huge turnout.  It lasted from 2:00 until 9:00.  People came from everywhere.  It is a true testament to the great person Mike was.  He always had a smile, and he always lived life to the fullest.  I'm glad I had a chance to know him.

Mike will be greatly missed.  He was a generous man and a friend to many.  I've been reading so many comments from people whose lives he's touched on facebook and the website for his business.  He's left behind a legacy of love and friendship with so many.  Thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.

I'll always remember Mike's  honest laugh

In my mind like a photograph.

A headlight beaming for only a while

Punctuating all of our lives with a smile.

I'll always remember Mike's deep laugh .

That friendly chuckle

Made you feel right at home ,

In spite of the years

              Or where they might roam.

I'll always remember Mike's laugh

In my mind like a photograph ......

I remember his giving hope to old ladies like my mom. Working on beaters that barely ran. And sweating over them. Just to set up a cheap payback plan. Not even sure if he would get paid. My mom always said ill never forget mike coming over to make sure my van got started when we lived in the trailer park. Pooring snow ice and bitter cold, mind you! And wouldn't take a dime. I loved that boy! My mom still says at the mention of his name. She always said. I know he is sitting at the hand of god in heaven. For having such a good heart. Then I break up the tears by asking. So you think Jesus has some nice rides for him to work on? I remember his laugh also. And the pushing up his heavy glasses.
