Comments:
I got married very very young! Had my first child 2 years later, then 2nd child 3 years after that. I was fortunate enough to be a stay at home Mom for many years. When both kids were in middle school then I started doing some part time jobs. Got a full time job at a local tack shop when the youngest was in high school. I was happily married for nearly 30 years until Robby my husband passed away in 2006 from complications of CLL (Leukemia). I have been taking care of my in laws for about 6 years now and my Father in Law passed away 6 months after Robby and so now just take care of his Mom, which is a full time job.
I am finally taking the time to do something for myself and will begin taking classes in the Fall at Augusta Tech. I am excited and also very nervous at the idea of doing this.
I spend a lot of time with my 5 grand children, they keep me going and also very agile!
I have an old horse (29) his name is Rooster, he is double registered TN Walker and Racking Horse. I have ridden him all over the GA & TN mountains, we have been many many miles together. He is now retired and I am in the process of looking for another horse to ride. Robby and I have done a little kayaking over the years and we had lots of fun. I have fun doing almost anything if it's out side, even cleaning the barn. I learned to drive my tractor last year so I have been bush hogging the pastures some and also learned to attach and use the scrape blade.
