After graduation from LCHS, I was torn between following a passion for Art and attend CCS on scholarship, or follow a dream and be a Dentist. I ended up following a dream.
I attended the University of Detroit and in 1994 received a Bachelors in Biomedical Science. With that, I went on to attend the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and graduated in 1999 with my Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
After a 2 and a half year stint at a practice in Grosse Pointe, I was called back to the arts. In 2002 Accents was born. I opened a art gallery, custom frame shop and portrait studio in Harrison Township. Late 2007 I began craving the sciences once again. I sold the Studio in May 2008, and headed back to class. June 2008 took me to Ashburn Va. where I obtained certification in Prosthetic Facial Reconstruction (Anaplastology).
In my spare time I've been blessed to revisit London twice, biked through the alps of Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary and the many canals of Amsterdam. Crossed the glaciers of the Canadian Rockies through Calgary, Banff, Jasper and Vancouver. Biked the Amalfi coast of Italy and Isles of Capri and Ischea. Coasted down the volcanic slopes of Hawaii and sailed across the Carribean Islands.
I may currently be homeless, jobless, and in debt up to my eyeballs... as I wait for a fellowship in this new chapter of life... BUT as we all know life is too short not to take advantage of each and every day!
