I guess the most interesting thing I've done since leaving high school (I never went back to Long Island) was moving "back to the land" (22 riverfront acres in the Ozark Mountains) in a school bus when my boys were 4 and 2 (1983). Lived there for 15 yrs.
I recently (Jan "08) moved here to KY to be by my son, Nathan, and his wife, while he is in law school at Univ. of Cinci. Then we all eventually plan on moving "back to the land" somewhere! Hopefully, I'll be retired by then...
My other son, Jesse, is an electrical engineer living in China.
