A sweet and funny dude, Howard died in a tragic skydiving accident a few years after we graduatied.
He had a Senfeld-like sense of humor. I remember he ws puzzled one night when we drove by a "home for the blind" on Powelton Avenue (?) near Penn. "Why," he asked, "are the lights on? Light is for people who can't see in the dark."
