I went to the University of Arizona and graduated with a BS in Business Administration. I moved back to Vegas and worked for Silverton Hotel & Casino in the marketing department. I realized that the casino industry wasn't for me, and I decided to teach. So, I took classes at night to obtain my Masters in Education. I taught 4th grade for 4 years.

As for my personal life, during summer of 2000, my husband, Matt, and I started dating until we were married on April 30, 2005. (Yes, Nicole Truax is my sister-in-law, and we live three doors down from each other...it is great!) He is the absolute love of my life, and on March 3, 2007, I added one more love of my life...our beautiful little girl, Savanna. Matt is a Firefighter for City of Henderson, and now I am lucky enough to stay home and take care of Savanna, our dog, and the horse we board in our backyard...of course, Matt is a huge help with all of that as well! We love hanging out in the yard, fishing, and camping whenever we can. Playing with and watching Savanna grow is our favorite thing, though. We are quite the happy little family! Now we are so lucky to have our little boy, Levi. We love experiencing the crazy life of having two amazing kids!
Update 2017: Added another little girl to our family. So lucky to have our little Ivy to complete are family.
