Anthony Adamo

After the blur of 4 years at Green Valley dissipated things became a bit clearer for me. I realized that nothing was happening for me in Vegas and headed out to San Diego in pursuit of something better with Josh Bubeck and Ryan McCoy. Spent an interesting 3 years there going to school, working and playing... then transferred to a 4 year school in Washington DC on my own. After 3 years there I graduated and went straight to grad school in New York City at Columbia University. Got my MA degree in Teaching American Sign Language as a Foreign Language and started teaching ASL at a public high school in Manhattan for about 6 years. Moved on to to teach at the university level for a few years and do some freelance interpreting. Met my wife while living in Brooklyn. Grew out of the city life and decided to take an opportunity to come home to Vegas and teach full time at CSN. Currently I am a tenured professor in the World Languages Department.

Some of you remember me as Turtle. I fell in the pool once at that keg party. I got banned from homecoming for pulling down my pants in the school parking lot at the game. Some of you may remember my garage gatherings and curiously screaming obscenities in my house late at night just to see if it would wake up my parents. I was in choir all 4 years for some reason... my real name is Anthony by the way.
