School Story:
Went to Mauway Elementary in the Phillipppines. Then in US went to Walter V. Long, then Oran K. Gragson then Estes McDoniel then Harriet Treem then Thurman White and finally Green Valley.
Spent 4 years at Green Valley High School from 1995 to 1999. Everyday for four years I had to run up that hill near the soccer field. It took about 7 minutes to walk from the door in my house to the door of the classroom.
Had Mr. Wallace for my Algebra teacher. I was in that class when they announced the verdict of OJ Simpson. We had a substitute teacher that day. She allowed the radio to be turned on for the reading.
Took classes where Todd Petersen and Tim Plaen thought for their first time. Todd bought new crayons for the class. The next year those crayons was in a bucket all worn out.
Froze my butt off in field outside for PE. I weigh 106 lbs when they weighed me for wrestling for PE. I was with kids half my height. Later on my weight peaked at 160. I was drinking non diet drink that had diet ingredients. Avoid Aspartame. Donald Rumsfeld stepped in and had it approved for consumption. It was to be denied because test monkeys had gotten cancer. David Chadburn flicked my ear during PE and it hurt bad. Later on I see his name on a Plaque, "in memory of", on a wall during Thurman White Middle School reunion.
In Mr Nicksick health class, he keeps licking his finger as he pass the assignment back. When I get the paper back it has a big thumbprint on it.
In computer science the class had had two girls and the other girl was a foreign exchange student from Lithuania. Her name was Monica Vaitkevichute. When we turn on the computer screen and wipe your hand on the screen it creates a static field on your fingers then if you touch someones ear they get shocked.
In Miss Hendrix' Modern literature class we passed the bear around when she wasn't looking. Mike Martin took it home and made a video.
Worked at the Cafeteria for one year. Usually I just walk home for lunch.
Negrete was my councilor. He was hard to find when you needed him.
