Because I travel so much, and it is usually spur of the moment I don't get to much interaction with old friends. When you're gone most or all of the week, there's a lot to do when you get home. Just keeping up with the pool and yard work is a full time job. My Dad and Brother helped me re-roof the house and the barn last summer.
I spend a lot of time in the barn restoring an old 72 Camaro that's just about done. I'm building a motor for it. It has the original powertrain in it that I will keep, but I have the old motor/trans from the chevelle I had in high school. I have more knowledge and money now and the whole situation is a rebuilding process. I had a Camaro like the one I have now in high school. I totaled them both because I was young and stupid.
Now I have the Camaro again with (eventually) the motor/trans from the chevelle. Both cars I had in high school. Kinda wierd in a sick sorta way.
I enjoy rebuilding things. I have done a lot of work on my house and I plan on replacing more windows this year and eventually new siding. I get great satisfaction in looking at something I have redone or fixed.
I took the camaro to that huge car show in Frankenmouth and I plan to go this year as well. There were at least 5,000 cars there. You meet some cool people.
Two of my boss' (small company 4 owners) are gear heads as well. One has a beautiful 67 camaro and the other a 55 chevy that he's putting together.
I have a girlfriend that I love, but I don't know if I'll ever have kids. I gotta a niece I helped raise.
I don't care for pictures of me so I included pictures of my baby."Before" and almost finished. I added my ugly mug!
