I graduated from Texas A&M in 1989 and started teaching first grade at Lowery Elementary in Cy-Fair ISD. I quit teaching in 1998 after the birth of my second child, Jake. In 2004, I began teaching 2 year olds at my church, Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
