Just "surviving" & enjoying this Crazy Path call L-I-F-E! [:-}

My sister Bridget Barnett & I used to ride our Shetland Ponies to Hastings to go to school, we'd take their bridles off, hang them in our locker & go to class...the ponies would slowly "graze" their way back home (to our farm which was about 1/2 mile away on Alief Cemetery Road, btwn Bellaire & Synott) just across the pasture from the school! There wasn't much out there then, but horse & cow pastures, so they coudn't "get lost" but the 6-8 dogs that followed us, didn't follow the horses back home...instead they laid in front of the school doors waiting for us to get out of class! Someone from the office would come get me or Bridget out of class to walk the dogs home, so people could go in & out the doors again! HaHa! We both still have "herds of dogs"....some things Never Change!!! ;)
