Attended SOSU in Durant. Formed a band called The Five Americans in 1964. Wrote and Recorded 5 hit records. I See The Light, Western Union, Sound of Love, Zipcode and Evol not Love. Retired from music in 1970 and attended SOSU again and recieved a master degree in administration. Held four jobs as a school Principal before returning home to teach at HHS as technology teacher.

I was told by my chemistry teacher Mr Shiary (? spelling) to join the army as a junior at HHS because I was certainly not getting any benefit from his class. I did join after graduation.
